Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you felt it necessary to rate our feedback as poor. In the event of a customer being absent from their address at the time of delivery, our courier will always leave consignments in the safest place possible, in this case a neighbours address. If your neighbour was also unavailable at the time of arrival, your order would have been left somewhere safe on your property, the goods would not have been taken back to your local depot. I will note that we do not deliver ourselves and leaving consignments safely is at the driver’s discretion. We send orders with our courier in good faith that our trees will be delivered safely. In the unlikely event that something may be stolen, we would prefer to know that our courier had taken every precaution necessary to keep the order safe to prevent this. The delay with your order wasn't something that normally happens and came as a shock to Ornamental Trees as we faced several challenges with the liquidation of City Link, announced over the Christmas period. All customers were notified of any expected delays with their orders. Your email update was sent to you on Monday 12th January informing you that your order would be delivered early the following week. Your order was then despatched on Friday 16th January. As expressed in our email update we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this delay may have caused. We hope you will come back to Ornamental Trees for any future orders, despite your experience with this order. We would be more than happy to apply a 10% discount to any future orders by way of apology.
