Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time. Sorry to hear of your disappointment with the trek information given, it's inconsistent with the great feedback received so far on that point. We do however acknowledge bad weather situations can impact on map reading etc. It is a pre-requisite of the self guided trek that navigational skills are essential, and all the materials supplied must be used in conjunction with a compass and altimeter. The route cards give information on the main points on the route, and refer to visual cues, these might be difficult to spot when visibility is poor & therefore additional methods of route finding and navigation are necessary. We have sent many updates during the season on trail conditions and closures, and travel information too. Our news page and blog are regularly updated alongside. To hear we didn't reply to one of your emails is a worry and not our intention, as we pride ourselves in excellent customer service. Our apologies if you felt unheard.
