One of the drills is doing a great job, the other snapped within 2 minutes of using it.

Hi Alan, thanks for your feedback. Oh dear, it sounds as though you may be applying far too much pressure as it is extremely rare to snap the hard steel shanks of these. Use at a slow speed with very little pressure and plenty of water as a coolant and you should be fine.

Great for drilling through China plates - 13 plates drilled so far using the same bit and not a chip in sight.
