Thanks for sharing your experience. Quartz is indeed very high on the Mohs hardness scale and can be particularly tough to drill. Our diamond drill bits will get through it, but a gentle touch, plenty of water for cooling, and a slow, steady pace are all essential. We're sorry to hear this caused frustration, and we’d be more than happy to offer advice tailored to your project next time.

Thanks for your feedback. To clarify, the diamond twist drills are intended for reaming or enlarging existing holes in materials, not for drilling through solid stone. For drilling quartz or other hard gemstones from scratch, we recommend our small diamond drill bits instead.
