Many thanks for your comments. The £22 booking fee is levied to cover admin costs and credit card fees, and is now a standard charge with most travel and ticket agents. We do appreciate that it is yet another cost on top of the rental fee however, regardless of the duration of the holiday, the fee remains £22.
It is taken as a seperate payment to prevent guests who book multiple weeks having to pay it multiple times.

 

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, the girls work hard and do like to be as helpful as possible so it is nice to see it is appreciated. Hopefully we can help again with your holiday plans.  We gave a lot of thought to the need for security deposits before they were introduced for all properties and do understand that for long standing guests like yourself it might seem excessive and unnecessary.  We will continue to review how this works to try to ensure that the approach taken is reasonable and not heavy handed.

Thank you for taking time to leave feedback on the cottage.  It does help us to maintain and improve so standards so we do like to receive any comments on things that need attention.  We are very sorry that the cottage was not as you might have expected and will draw the items raised to the owner’s attention.  As it is a budget priced cottage it may be difficult to provide a welcome pack without the rate needing to be increased.
