Dear Customer, Thanks you for your comments, it is interesting to get feedback from various perspectives as product life is exactly the reason why this method was chosen. The MultiDesk was designed to incorporate the storage drawers in a practical way with some customisable elements to accommodate individual working practices. Adhesive pads were chosen to make the assembly process as quick and simple as possible while still being strong enough to hold the position of the desktop while working and allow it to support any necessary equipment for home working. Should the desk need to be moved or taken apart at any time, this process again should be quick and easy and leave no extra holes or damage to the unit, so for example if you wish to move the position of the drawers to the other side, you can lift the desktop away from the drawers, swivel it around and reposition the drawers on the other side. It also means that the drawer units remain completely intact, so if you wish to use them as a standalone item in the future you can separate them from the desk, extending the potential life cycle.
