I would like to point out the inaccuracy in your review, there is a cancellation period, it is well documented within your course pack whether on-line or paper-based, it would have been explained to you on the phone if you had have enrolled over the phone and is displayed clearly on the website. We have a large student services team and each cancellation request is dealt with by a dedicated team, even if it over the 14 day cancellation period, we are very understanding and know that situations and requirements can change. In your case, none of the "good excuses" you presented were reasons for cancelling, especially so far into the course. 12 months is usually ample time for most students and if struggling we often arrange extensions for the student. We really wanted to help and provided solutions to the deemed issues, but ultimately you cannot use something and then expect to return it for a full refund.
