I have no complaints except for the lack of the remote instructions.I need to know what the three central buttons do, I can only guess. I assume that the left and right buttons are for left and right...

Hi Dennis, I think the buttons you're referring to are the Bluetooth playback buttons. You should have a play/pause and next / previous song buttons. There is a diagram in the user guide that comes with new speakers, but I'll pass on your feedback regarding a user manual for the replacement remote control too.
