Thank you for your feedback, Thank you for writing to us about your experience on tour with us on September 27th. The location selected at any given time is based on weather conditions/cloud cover and the area around the national park of Thingvellir Finding other locations is simply not an option as the lights are at a height of 80km to 640km that being in a wide area on ground will see the lights but the main thing is to get out of city lights in as much darkness as possible. We have operated this tour for so many years that a good knowledge of our guides and drivers is excellent. The guides and drivers communicate with other colleagues, farmers, country cafes etc during the evening if anyone is seeing any lights. According to terms and conditions of this tour and all our tours is that once you have participated, a refund is not given. We however offer all passengers to repeat the tour while in Iceland but if you have already left, the tickets are valid for 2 years and we certainly hope that you will visit us again and jon our tour complimentary. The tour is on from mid-August until mid-April

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that you did not find our representative at the airport holding the Gray Line Iceland sign to direct you to the bus quikly. This would also depend on the tiime you made your booking. The transfer includes dropoff at hotels and tour bus stops but the large coach will not do that and other smaller shuttles are assigned this task at the depot. I can assure you that this should be done promptly and our drivers do not consume alcohol during working hours and would be having their break after their duty time
