Our tour lasts 4 hrs in total - 2 hrs best of Venice and St mark's basilica and 2 hrs doges Palace - we include skip the line tickets but we do not advertise the St mark's basilica tour as including the full experience. However should you have desidered to complete your tour in the basilica and continue your visit to the upper floor as well, you could have advised the guide, as we visit St mark's basilica at the end of the walking tour . Our guides are italian and Monica , the guide you had for your tours, always receives very positive feedbacks. therefore I'm very surprised by your comment about her . We only have italian venitian guides doing our tours, as we believe in providing authentic experiences by natives of the area that possess a good command of english. In regards to the walking tour being awful, also this comment comes to me as a surprise, as Monica is by nature, a very kind and accomodating person and the comment about not waiting for the guests does not correspond to her personality nor her way of working. She's a very professional guide. Maybe your expectations of the tour were different and I'm very sorry you choose a tour that did not live up to your expectations.
