Thank you for the time to leave your feedback following your claim with Eversure Car Hire Excess Insurance. We’re sorry that the claim took a little longer than usual, this is usually due to the difficulty of obtaining the paperwork from the car hire companies. Following a Competition and Markets Authority inquiry, 5 of the biggest car hire firms in Europe have promised to act on customer complaints: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-33509683. We are looking at this with our underwriters now to determine whether we may make some changes in order to keep pace with the new fees being levied by some of the car hire companies. Many of their fees are already covered by our policy and we hope to be able to cover all of them at some point in the future. Many thanks Ian Ian Pollicott Eversure Insurance
