Hi Georgina,

I'm the Operations Manager at Professional Academy and have recently come back from an extended leave. It seems that the quality of our Customer Service has slipped dramatically during my absence and I would like to apologise for the impact this has had on your studies and experience with us. We have identified that the main member of staff looking after Customer Support has unfortunately neglected her role and this has only come to my knowledge in the past week. We will be taking appropriate action. I appreciate that this is of little comfort to you, but I wanted to let you know that the poor service you have received is not what we have been offering in the past.

In terms of the material it is currently undergoing a review and update. ISMM have changed as an organisation in the past six months and are now called ISM. As part of their reorganisation there were questions surrounding the qualifications and for some time it was uncertain whether they would continue to exist. Now that we have had a confirmation that they intend to keep the accredited qualifications we are able to go ahead with the necessary review and updating of the material.

I'm sorry that your study experience was so unsatisfactory, i can only say that we are now working hard to remedy the weaknesses you have pointed out.

After some initial issues, the rest of my course went a lot better. Communication was much improved, with prompt feedback from tutors and modules marked within a week. I was quite close to the deadline when I submitted my final modules and the staff worked hard to ensure that my assignments were marked promptly to allow me to claim my diploma.

Following my response to the comments on Service I'd like to thank you for highlighting the issues with the links not working. We will be addressing this as part of the ongoing review, mentioned above.

We will also look at the tasks and ensure they are improved and made clearer.

I still feel that some of the material was unclear and that the study guides don't match up overly well with the tasks, making it difficult to know what content you should be including for each section.
