For your clarification, when a customer is pre-approved, it means only a soft credit check is conducted, which reviews the surface of your credit. A pre-approval does not guarantee that you will be fully approved until we perform a hard credit check. This hard credit check reviews the details of your income, credit history, and other factors to confirm if we can approve you for the full amount. Once you are approved, we are required to check all your expenses and verify your income. According to our notes, there was a discrepancy in your income amount for the month of December. We had to contact your employer to verify those details. We apologize if that felt invasive, but it was necessary to proceed with the application. Unfortunately, after the hard credit check, we could only approve $1,350.00 versus the $6,000. However, with a good payment history, you could be approved for a larger amount in the future if the opportunity arises. If you feel that this loan is not sufficient for your current situation, we offer a grace period of 14 days from the funding date to return the funds.
