We’re pleased to hear that you found the location peaceful with good parking and close to good beaches and Padstow. We are however sorry to read you were disappointed with the double mattress. Whilst we appreciate the firmness of a mattress is rather subjective – some like mattresses hard, others soft – we do strive for middle ground with medium firm in the hope that this appeals to the majority of guests. We appreciate you making us aware of the issues you had with the mattress at the sides and one of our senior managers will be inspecting the property you stayed in at a matter of priority to review the mattress. We do change mattresses regularly as needed. We genuinely appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us improve the experience for all our guests. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at Porth Sands Apartments. We sincerely apologise for the shower issues you experienced during your visit. We take your concerns very seriously and want to update you on the actions we've taken. Regarding the electric shower temperature problems and overflowing drain in the en suite, we have had both a plumber and electrician attend the property, and a new shower has now been installed. For the main bathroom shower head that wouldn't stay in position, we have ordered a new shower riser rail which will resolve this problem. We are very sorry that there was no corkscrew in the property during your stay - there should have been one provided as standard. Had you mentioned this to us during your visit, we would have replaced it immediately. We have now ensured one is in place for our next guests and we thank you for making us aware. Regarding pint glasses, we appreciate your feedback, though unfortunately these are not part of our standard provision due to storage space limitations in the kitchen cupboards. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the stunning Porth Beach views and found the bath towels to your liking. Your comment about wanting to return once the shower issues are resolved means a great deal to us, and we're pleased to confirm that these problems have either been fully addressed or are in the process of being fixed. We sincerely apologise that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Regarding the beds, we’re surprised to hear they were described as rusty, as all our beds feature solid pine frames. We’d be grateful if you could clarify what specifically gave you this impression, as this would help us investigate further. Concerning the heating, our radiators are fully adjustable and can be turned up or down to achieve your desired temperature. We regret that you experienced difficulties with temperature control during your stay. Had we been made aware of this issue, we would have been happy to assist you immediately. Please note that the radiator by the front door is a feeder radiator, which will naturally be cold when heating is off and warm when it’s on - this is normal operation for this type of system. We’re sorry to hear that the stairs caused noise issues during your stay. This is the first time we’ve received this particular complaint, and we understand how disruptive this must have been, especially when traveling with a baby. Regarding sleeping arrangements, our property is advertised as accommodating 6 guests with a twin bedroom, double bedroom, and sofa bed. The bedding for the sofa bed is stored in the monk’s bench in the lounge area, and we provide extra towels in the wardrobe (typically in the twin bedroom) to ensure all guests are comfortable. If you had difficulty working the mechanism of the sofa bed we would have been happy to assist had you made us aware. As for cutlery, we do stock 6 of each item for our guests. We apologise if there was a shortage during your visit and would have been happy to address this immediately had we been notified. We were pleased to deliver the cot and high chair as requested before your arrival, and we hope these items were helpful during your stay. We genuinely regret that these issues impacted your holiday experience.
