Should have been made clearer that DC is not suitable for a standard house electrical system

Thanks for your feedback. We’re not quite sure why this is not suitable for your home given DC phones are ideal for most homes it can often be easier to install a DC fan as electricians don’t need to run additional wiring down to a wall control, when so many DC models are run by remote. Recently manufacturers have been making wall controls for their DC fans also. Even the Ventair Skyfan DC Ceiling Fan with CCT LED Light – Black 52″ you purchased is compatible with the Ventair Skyfan DC Wall Control For Models with Light. These wall controls often work similarly to a remote. Rather than being wired directly to the fan they are wired to power and connect to the fan's receiver to control the unit. This means installation is still just as easy as installing an AC fan. There are some situations where fans may not be able to be installed, such as in houses with older wiring, or in apartment complexes where it can be difficult to access the ceiling space to wire the fan.
