Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it is appreciated.
We have looked into your order and can confirm that all Stressless chairs delivered by us are assembled as standard. As your chair was collected from the store the chair had not been assembled but there is a handy man available in store who could have assembled the chair upon request, this service should have been offered at the time of collection. We do not assemble furniture that is collected as standard as there is a greater risk of damage being caused when furniture is transported in a car or other small vehicle. (When we deliver furniture that has been assembled we re-wrap it and strap it for transport. Unfortunately, we do not have facilities for this available in store.)
As a gesture of goodwill and by way of apology for the inconvenience you have experience we would like to reimburse you for the cost of your assembly. If you could send a copy of your receipt/invoice to online@cousinsfurniture.co.uk it would be appreciated.
With regards to the store manager not calling you back we can only apologise for this as there was a miscommunication on our part and he was unaware that you were expecting a call back.
Once again, thank you for leaving us feedback. We do appreciate it and we hope that this experience will not prevent you from shopping with us again in the future.
