I know that you purchased the ring back in January but we are unaware of any problems that you have had with the ring.
Perhaps the best thing to do is send the ring back so we can take a look at it and find out what the problem is. I am sure it could be sorted.

Not like us at all to send out scuffed boxes, ill fitting earrings etc. Please accept my sincere apologies.
I had a good look through all the correspondence in your order and couldn't find anything to say you felt this way, if we had known about the problem we would have moved heaven and earth to sort if for you.
Is it too late now to try and put it right?

Thanks for your apology Gary, it means a lot coming from the MD/Co-Owner!
I doubt you will find anything in our correspondance as I placed the order directly on your website, and explained my grievances whilst on the phone to your CSR when asking for my refund. To be fair this call was made last thing on Friday, so it is understandable that the CSR wanted to get my refund out of the way before going home rather than try to 'move heaven and earth' to turn it around and offer an exchange/compensation.
Thanks for your offer to put it right, however I have now placed and order with a rival online company. Rest assured if this excursion turns out to be folly, I will be going back to the high street!

This ring is gorgeous and it is very difficult to show in the pictures regarding the colours of stones due to the lighting and different screen resolutions too... That is why we offer a 30 day returns policy just in case!

Thanks for the feedback, good point about the emails...as you can imagine our customers are eager to know when the item will be arriving, updates etc and there is no way of stopping these updates.
