We appreciate how important the planned itinerary is and understand your frustration that more notice of the changes was not possible. As you will appreciate, weather conditions across Europe have had a significant impact on river levels. Whilst we always endeavour to keep guests informed as early as possible, conditions can change very quickly and often require immediate operational decisions. In circumstances such as low water levels, there are a number of logistical arrangements that need to be confirmed, including alternative moorings, local permissions and transportation requirements, whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew. Consequently, confirmed changes can sometimes only be communicated at short notice.
