Unfortunately, our suppliers can change accommodation and it is an issue over which we have no control. However, it should be noted that and change is not taken lightly and every alternative explored. We note that you accepted the change on 10 September and our suppliers advised accordingly. Please contact our after sales line on 0871 911 0137 who will be able to assist in sourcing alternative accommodation should this be required or alternatively respond to the agent who was dealing with your change.

Following on from that defensive and unattributed response, and a further two weeks of wrangling, with many emails to and fro, I have finally been able to persuade Holidays Gems to reinstate our booking at our preferred hotel. Thanks to all those involved.
