Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. Yes so, these pods are now fully sealed for the maximum freshness, and this is why we no longer need the pouch. While nothing major has changed, it is worth keeping in mind that coffee is a natural product which grows on a plant. Just like fruit and vegetables, there are variances due to seasonality etc. I have reached out to you via email to make sure that we'll do all that we can to make sure you are happy.😊☕ - John
