I fear that there may have been some misunderstanding or a breakdown in communication at some stage. I know that one of my colleagues has called you to discuss this in the last couple of days. Within six weeks of starting your Debt Management Plan we had arrangements in place with all but one of your lenders. At that point you requested a lower monthly payment so we went through the process of renegotiating with your lenders and this took a further 8 weeks. We were also able to agree arrangements and freeze your interest and charges with all of your lenders, in addition to securing a substantial refund of charges from one of them (far exceeding the total fee that you have paid us over the life of your plan). I can confirm that you have had two Personal Finance Managers over the life of your Debt Management Plan. Whilst we do try and keep staff changes to a minimum sometimes they are unavoidable. I can understand your confusion though as when you call in it isn’t always possible for you to speak to your PFM, but your call will be dealt with by another member of the team, who has full access to your details. We requested updated balances on your account from lenders both at the start of your plan and then six monthly thereafter. This is why the balances showing on GP Online did not appear to be falling.
