I am very sorry if we haven’t explained very well the reason for the delay. When an IVA is accepted all creditors respond with ‘proof of debt’ which is an official document to confirm the balance owed and the amount that creditor is claiming. We are waiting for one of your creditors to provide this information. As soon as we have the information we can distribute the funds and pass your IVA for closure. Had we received this information shortly following the acceptance of your IVA we would have expected you to have received your closure report within the 6 week timescale you were given. I have asked the team to do all they can to chase the outstanding creditor and give you a call to update you on progress. I am very sorry that this is taking a little longer than anticipated.
