We are so pleased you found booking your holiday with us an enjoyable experience. Many thanks for your feedback and our apologies for any inconvenience you encountered regards packed lunches. Whilst we don't include these on this tour as standard we do endeavor to ensure that there are options for places to buy these at the beginning of the day or early en route as we know how important it is to keep fueled during a walk. To the best of our knowledge on this tour there are bakeries at every starting point. This has been double checked by our resort staff and we will ensure that should future customers want this option the location of the bakeries is made clearer. As discussed with Ian, our representative in resort the Hotel Roseraie can offer a packed lunch service.

We take a great deal of pride in our exclusive resort representation service and Headwater reps are chosen for their enjoyment of both walking and cycling as well as their knowledge and love of the country they work in,  James and Ian in the Loire are no exception. We understand you met them both when you were on your holiday and they were surprised by your feedback after the various conversations and transfers you had with them in resort and apologise unreservedly if it came across that they were less interested in walking than cycling.

We do hope the issues you encountered on your holiday with us did not spoil your enjoyment of the Loire. Our service to our customers both in the UK and in resort is of paramount importance to us and your feedback will be acted upon and used to improve  areas where we may have fallen short.

We make every effort to ensure that all aspects of our holidays are perfect and it's disappointing to note that we have let you down on this occasion. Many thanks for your comments, we're delighted to see that you enjoyed our new guided tour in Romania but sorry that the itinerary fell short on the first day. This tour has been in development for over 12 months and at the time you travelled was very new. We constantly assess our tours using feedback and customer advice to review and improve them.  We have since changed the first day of the tour and looked at other aspects to improve the week overall with our on the ground suppliers and apologise for any inconvenience to you. Local issues outside our control did affect timing on some occasions and these have also been looked at and will be avoided in the future.
