Quality item, well made, sturdy and functional. Brass Acme thread in a cast iron frame. Does the job on walnuts - tested already - and I'm sure it will tackle all other nuts with ease.

Previous nutcracker snapped on walnuts - no such problem with this beast. Brazil nuts cracked like they were eggshells.
