Unfortunately, the goods were not solid brass and because they would be engraved it was decided to return the goods.

Just to inform you that the finger plate is solid brass, but due to the thickness of the finger plate engraving is not possible without compromising the structural integrity. I believe you required a plaque which would be a thicker sheet of brass to be able to engrave on, and the purpose of this product is not for engraving on I'm afraid. We hope you were able to source something more suitable for what you required.
