I’m sorry that your experience with SME did not meet expectations. The product ordered in this case (a Pathway Rectal Intracavity EMG/Stimulation Sensor) is a prescription-restricted medical device that, under federal regulations, may only be sold to a licensed healthcare practitioner or dispensed with a valid prescription on file. To remain compliant, our team reached out to request either a copy of a medical license or a valid prescription before processing the order. Unfortunately, we were unable to move forward without one of those required documents. We understand this may have been frustrating, but these policies are in place to protect both patients and providers and are not unique to SME. If you’re able to obtain a prescription from your healthcare provider in the future, our team would be happy to assist further.

Outside of those instances, it appears that your orders over the past couple of years have otherwise been fulfilled successfully. We also were not able to locate any reported cases related to spilled liquids or damaged shipments. Our crew is always happy to jump in quickly with replacement shipments and handle any carrier claims on the backend to help make things right as fast as possible.
