Resume Writing Group Reviews

Dear Marilyn,

   I believe in customer service first yet in a public forum such as this one, I must correct any blatant inaccuracies, untruths, or misunderstandings as they occur:

   The individual writing this review actually spoke directly to their writer on the telephone for 40 minutes (Jeannie *IS* the writer!). The reviewer writes that she spoke to Jeannie and that a "much better resume" was prepared. Jeannie, the "very lovely lady" to whom she spoke, is THE writer who prepared that resume.  Over the course of 6 days, we provided two different versions of this client's resume created by two different writers AND a bonus, 3rd version as well--for no additional fee.  This individual secured the personal phone numbers of one of the owners of the company and took it upon herself to call and text message that owner nearly every day for 6 days at times ranging from afternoon to evening to 1:30AM in the morning.  She communicated with Belinda prior to ordering, WHILE ordering, immediately after ordering, and daily ....each day after ordering. All of her texts were answered. All of her phone calls were answered. All of her emails were answered (she also had email exchanges with another owner, the service department, and the first of two writers servicing her). All of this took place over just a few days. Multiple representatives and executives gave her hours and hours of time....and for all of that, she will billed a total of just $109.95. 

  To anyone reading this, I am confident that our level of service exceeds that of anyone in our industry. Nowhere else will anyone do the amount of work or take the amount of calls, emails, and texts that we did to make this client happy...for the low price we charged.  If you're reading this review and have ANY doubts, call me personally at 352-978-6122...and you'll see we have communication and certainly do an excellent job.

  We're sorry you weren't in love with your new resume but there are some things in your public review of our work which make it clear we can resolve this quickly and easily so you are happy:

  1)--We do offer in-depth phone consults but you had opted out. Your writer is also available to communicate with you every day of the week through our interface and I see you have used that. I am happy to give you a free, in-depth phone session anytime today or Monday--Please reply to this review or call us or let us know via our website when you are free. You can even text message my personal cell at 352-978-6122 (include your order ID# if you do that please!). After we speak on the phone, we will revise your resume to your satisfaction at no additional charge. I'm sorry you read the writer's email as "rude" but I can assure you they were merely asking you for more information!

  2) In our revision, it is no problem for us to broaden your objective to apply to more jobs/more types of customer service

  3) "The claim of getting you work is false." --When you wrote this review, you had not even in possession of your new resume for a week yet! Our claims allude to 45 days of resume distribution! Though some people do get jobs much sooner, <5 days is hardly enough time to call our advertising claims "false." That would be like going to the doctor, getting a prescription that should heal your ailment in 5-7 days and then calling the doctor a "quack" when you're not 100% better the very same evening you begin taking the meds she prescribed! Some employers who WILL interview take longer than that just to call you! 

I think it's reasonable you a) wait a little longer, b) work with us on revisions and c) let us help you with resume distribution advice. I am confident all of that work, time, re-writing, and counseling will make it more than worth the $109 invested!

I reviewed all correspondence between you and Carolyn, your lead writer. For public record, your revision request was to transform the 2 page resume we created for you into a 1 page resume. Not wanting to delete something to which you'd object, the writer had sent you the following message you described in your review as "annoyed" :

Hello Nancy,    Your new resume is almost an entire 2-pages long - to reduce it to a single page would require quite a bit of editing and deletion of material.  I will be happy to delete any material you would like but please be specific in telling me which information to remove.    Additionally, I could work with font sizes to gain any additional space.     As you know, a 2-page business resume is considered  quite acceptable but I will be happy to work to reduce the length of your document if you will give me specific directions as to material to be deleted.    I'll be monitoring my email for your response ~    Best regards, Carolyn



Dear Adrian,

 We certainly want you to be thrilled with your new resume. I am a bit confused though...Lookikg through our logs, I see you opted to communicate writ your writer by email and initiated same. I do not see a record of you calling us or asking for a call but we are always happy to do so! You wrote that our writer "assumed to much" but she sent you this exact note to which you replied:

"Thanks for the email. Please send over the job description for the position you will be applying for. Also, can you elaborate a bit more about your background in accounting and contracts? This will help expand the resume more towards that focus."

  Upon receiving your reply, they proceeded to revise your resume and then you even sent them a "thank you" letter telling them that the revision was "much better." With this in mind, I must ask....Did you mean to rate our work as only "1 star" publicly on Feefo?! If not, please correct. Also, if your latest email thanking us for the revisions was inaccurate, please let me know and I'll personally ensure someone works with you one on one until your resume amazes you!
