Hi Emily,

  We're sorry you're so dissatisfied but I think this can be resolved quite easily. Revisions certainly don't require more money and we haven't asked you for any! You emailed us about the resume we sent "...missing information from 2013-present" (nothing else was mentioned) and we promptly replied letting you know that the file you originally sent us only has your experience as a Senior Executive Sales Representative from 2011-present and nothing else. Consequently, we've been trying to reach you to get the rest of the information so that we can revise it accordingly. It is certainly possible that you haven't received our one voice mail or multiple emails. Please check your 'junk mail' folder as the inquiry may have been routed there (or search "deleted mail" in case you accidentally skipped over it)... You can also write to me directly at andrew@resumewritinggroup.com or reply to this post...

  We will definitely make it right but we need more information as the missing piece of the puzzle was never submitted to us with your original order.

As per our follow-up, we've confirmed:

*Client intended to send us their updated resume but had sent an older saved version without the missing information
*We offered to add the additional information at no extra charge
*We confirmed that all verb tense choices in our initial draft were correct and explained the proper use to the client
*Client refused additional service

  I'm very sorry that you're so dissatisfied. Looking through your communications with us, I see that you told your lead writer that you liked your resume but weren't pleased with its aesthetic format. She agreed to change the format and that change is under way now...but please note: The format used was chosen because it is ATS-compliant and your previous resume was not. Making it more visually impressive may deter some systems from properly scanning it. I suggest that you use the second version we give you...for in-person interviews....and the original copy for electronic submission.

Your original resume included many things that can strongly deter prospective employers. These include but are not limited to: An inclusion of your personal photograph, the notation that you are a father to two girls (wonderful for interview/getting to know you--but NOT for a resume..especially not an ATS-compliant one)...

*In today's competitive job market, sending your new resume to only 6 prospective employers is not an adequate way to wage its effectiveness. We strongly recommend that you do a larger campaign.

*We appreciate that you submitted 6 single-spaced pages of information. We put a considerable amount of hours into strategically condensing that into your new resume while keeping your career objective in mind. When you consider the amount of time & work that goes into so much reading and then into the crafting of a resume, I'm sure you'll agree you received an excellent deal!
