ItaliaRail failed to deal with problems
We had to purchase duplicate tickets as there was no response to our emails on the missing electronic tickets. (Actual train journey was pleasant enough but having paid twice over, very expensive!)

Train system is good, and reliable. Italia Rail pass is a joke, no need to purchase as the ticket prices are more expensive through Italia pass vs. buying direct from train company.
