We’re pleased to hear that your outbound journey went smoothly, and I’ll pass on your comments regarding the on-board catering to our partners at BA CityFlyer. We can only apologise for the delay on your return journey, and for the fact that passengers were held on board for around 40 minutes while the airport organised the Immigration desk to be opened. This should not have happened, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been. We will be raising this with the relevant team at Guernsey Airport to help prevent similar issues in the future. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your flights to and from Tenerife did not meet your expectations and for the inconvenience caused by the delays. The outbound delay was due to Air Traffic Control restrictions, and the return flight was briefly held on the runway while a minor technical issue was checked to ensure everyone’s safety. Unfortunately, both delays were outside the airline’s control, but we completely understand how frustrating it must have been for you and your family. Our catering arrangements for the Tenerife programmes is a buy-on-board service, which we do detail in our pre-departure email information and on our website. I will pass on your comments to the relevant people regarding this. We appreciate your feedback and hope that, despite these issues, you were able to enjoy your holiday. We hope that you choose to use FlyDirect on a future occasion.
