We regret the broken and dirty fridge and the surroundings of one hotel, the broken curtains, faulty lamps and uncleaned room at another, which resulted in three room changes and a very late arrival in your final room, and the smell of smoke, mould and dusty bedding at a third. We are pleased, however, that you found your Coach Driver excellent, that the rooms were of a good standard and generous proportions, and that the Rocky Mountaineer journey was so enjoyable. We regret that the hotels used for your stays were not located in Jasper and Banff as the itinerary described, and that the distances involved, particularly from Jasper, limited your enjoyment of those destinations. We also understand your disappointment that these changes were not communicated clearly, and that your group of three was not accommodated in adjacent rooms. Breakfast arrangements, the amount of commentary on the coach and the organisation of the tour were likewise below the standard we aim to provide, and we are sorry that your Travel Director did not receive the support she required. We take the concerns you have raised about the accuracy of the information provided very seriously.
