We do have checks in place in our warehouse that should avoid imperfect items being sent out unless we discuss with you first. I have looked into this for you and can see that you placed an order with us on the 12th and we dispatched this for you on the 15th. I am aware that you contacted us for express delivery, we did explain that as the shoe is not in our main warehouse it could take slightly longer, as your email confirmation stated 5-7days. The issue here was that we dispatched your order on a thursday and it takes 48hrs for items to be delivered to Ireland and as we do not deliver on the weekends it can sometimes cause an additional delay. We certainly take your comments on board and can appreciate your frustration. We do strive to deliver as quickly as we can and if the shoe is in our main warehouse it is dispatched for next day delivery here in the UK and 48 hours for our Ireland customers, but it is when we have to call the stock that it can take additional time. If you or any of our customers need shoes for a specific date we do recommend giving us a call so that we can give you a rough estimate in order to not disappoint you. We are very sorry to hear this. We have looked into your order and can see there was an initial issue with us being able to take payment from you when we were attempting to dispatch your items, which we contacted you about. As a result this then caused a minor glitch within our warehouse which caused a delay in dispatching your order. We can certainly see that despite us not being able to take payment initially from you there was an unacceptable delay and lack of communication on our part which I can assure you never usually happens as we take so much pride in communicating with all our customers and doing our best to get orders to you as efficiently and smoothly as possible. As a way of an apology we did provide you with 20% off your order and do hope that you will order with us again as we can assure you this will not happen again.
