Hello and thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you found the staff to be so helpful. However, I am sorry that the rest of your experience was not as enjoyable. With regards to pricing, we use Flexi-Pricing, which means that prices for a particular crossing may increase in line with demand for that crossing. Our fares also reflect the cost of running our service (which is not subsided). The sooner you book, the more likely you are to pay a lower fare and fares will generally get higher the closer you get to the sailing date, particularly during busier times. Keep an eye on our 'offers' tab on our website for ideas on ways to save. I would also recommend to sign up for our newsletter, if you haven't already done so, to keep up to date with all of our latest offers. Although this does not help with your recent travel, if you do face any issues with making a booking moving forward, please do call our team in our Contact Centre who will be more than happy to advise and help to make a booking for you. I do hope we can provide a more enjoyable experience if you choose to travel with us again in the future.

Appalling service
They rebooked my return trip with no notice from 5pm to 9pm. This meant that I would be driving alone and not arriving home until the early hours on a Monday morning.

Hello, Firstly, I am very sorry for the change in your booking time. Unfortunately, if a sailing is cancelled, then we must move traffic to the next available sailing to be able to accomodate all booked customers. We do appreciate the frustration caused when this happens however, the safety of our customers and crew is our highest priority and our teams work extremely hard to get back to running a full service as soon as possible. I can see you were able to speak to someone within our contact centre who was able to get you on an earlier sailing to which you were moved to, which I do hope helped a little.

Unfortunate long delay!
Regrettably a four hour delay announced, technical issues. Therefore had long, unplanned journey ahead in the dark in atrocious weather!
