Hi there, We apologise for the misunderstanding and we’re investigating this case deeper. General speaking the mounting bracket when used with this fan, will mean that this would no longer be IP44. However, the fan is suitable for use in an outdoor undercover environment. Our customer service team has been briefed about this specific matter in order to provide a better assistance in the future. There was no misunderstanding. Just poor customer service. Comment re outdoor undercover is not relevant. The fan was being installed inside, this was discussed with your representative at the time of call. Will not be shopping nor recommending here again.
