The organisation are a joke. I ordered some shoes and ties online for a total sum of just short of one hundred pounds. A payment was taken from my bank acount under the name of Samuel Windsor and two days later a further full payment was taken by Clifford James. I phoned Clifford James to query the transaction and they finally admitted it was their error and that a duplicate order had been processed. Obviously, I asked for a refund and was told I couldn't have it until they had received the goods back from the courier. So, they took my money twice, it was their error and they wouldn't give me my money back!! My call was placed 5 days ago and still I do not have my money. Its a disgrace.
The shoes and ties are of good quality but unforunately the shoes do not fit (they are the biggest size 10s I have ever seen). And so I now have the inconvenience of sending part of my order back. I have been waiting nearly 2 days for the courier (Parcelnet) to collect.

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the duplicate order. I have taken a look at your account and can see that we are still waiting for the goods to come back from the couriers, yet a refund has been processed back onto your card.
I have also been in touch with the couriers regarding the collection and they have informed me that the collection has now taken place. Sadly one of the disadvantages of mail order is that you are unable to try the shoes on before making your purchase.

Thank you for your reply. However, I have a number of outstanding issues.
Firstly, the refund you gave me (£90) does not cover the amount taken by you in error (£94.95) which covered postage and packaging. It was your error and not mine and therefore I should get a full refund of the amount taken and not just the amount of the goods.
Secondly, your courier is not telling the truth because the package containing the shoes is still with me.

I have arranged for the outstanding £4.95 to be refunded, this really should not have been missed from the original refund, so our apologies.
Also I have again been in touch with the couriers and it appears that amazingly there was another collection arranged within close proximity to you and that is where the confusion lay with the information given to me. I will arrange the collection again, but with a different courier this time. I can arrange it for any day (Monday-Friday) which suits you best(and from any address); I will need 24 hours notice. Please let me know which day is best by either replying through Feefo or by emailing directly at srees@bvg-airflo.co.uk.

To be honest, I am totally confused. I received an email from a Parcelnet yesterday saying they would pick the parcel up today (8/10/08), but they haven't done so.
I cannot spend any more time sitting about waiting for a courier, so the parcel is placed outside my front door when I am out. So, the sooner the better for me for collection. Please can you request that the courier, whoever it may be, puts a receipt through my letterbox if I am not in.

Now I really am starting to get ****** off with all of this. It has now been a week and a half since I advised you that I wanted to return some goods. Having originally been told it would be either Thursday or Friday last week, I cannot belief it is now 10-11 days on and I still have the parcel.
You last correspondance on Wednesday 8th said that you can arrange for collection but need 24 hours notice. Well, when I replied that I wanted them picked up asap I would have expected collection of Friday (yesterday) at the very latest.
I wish I had never placed an order wth you in the first place. It is this kind of inconvenience and poor service that really pisses me off. There is no excuse for it. I work in the service industry and if I had treated my customers in the same way as you have treated me then I would have been facing disciplinary. Don't forget that you sent my order twice and took an unauthorised payment that I had to battle to get refunded.
As is seems that no-one is coming to collect the parcel may I suggest that I take it down the post office. However, I would like some reassurance before I do so, that you will refund the postage as it is only due to your incompetence that I have to take this action.
