I ordered 2 prs of Monk shoes, size 8 1/2. I was pleased with the quality overall, tho I feel their suggested retail value is exaggerated. However, I was surprised (& disappointed) to find that altho the brown pr was a perfect fit, I could not get my foot in the rt. blk one - so I returned that pr. Today I have a mssg that a replacement pr - size 9 - has been sent... I wd rather have had another size 8 1/2 like the brown pr, which was indeed a perfect fit..

Sorry to see that the shoes did not quite fit. Unfortunately because of the nature of mail order, you are unable to try the shoes on before you buy them, as you would on the high street. The sizings may vary slightly between the styles and even amongst the same styles, the size may vary as they are all entirely hand made.
