Good afternoon, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to learn you feel this way. We can see you called our offices on 4th February 2020 with the same query. Our Advisor confirmed based on your sum insured we would require 'lockable doors and windows' at the premises where your equipment is kept. The locations you can keep your equipment include a house, apartment or photographic studio. This must be be brick, concrete or a stone private house of standard construction with a slate, tiled or multilayered roof• a self-contained apartment within the above • brick, concrete or stone building of standard construction with a slate, tiled or multi-layered roof within which composed photographs are taken and/or print or photographic film is developed We just ask that the location has 'security measures' in place. These would include locks on doors and windows. It used to be common practice with policies of this type within the industry to adhere to certain standards such as British Standard 3621 locks, however, here at The Insurance Emporium we only ask that you have the security measures in place such as lockable doors and windows. Doors and windows must be locked at the time of the incident (unless the window doesn't open). We don't have any set standard of lock etc to adhere to. It was our aim to make the security requirements as easy as possible to adhere to rather than be ambiguous. Hope this helps. Kind regards The Insurance Emporium

Good morning, Thank you for review, we're a little confused as to what's gone on here. It looks like your old policy was up for automatic renewal and a premium collection was attempted. The policy hadn't been cancelled at the time. Apologies for any inconvenience. The policy is now cancelled and your new one is up and running.
