Hi Robert & Susan,

thank you very much for your feedback. I hope my comments below address some of the issues you experienced whilst on tour.

Firstly, lunches on this tour can be difficult. There is so much ground to cover in a short time. Ideally, we would take 30-45 minutes, so everyone has time to get some food and stretch their legs and this would ideally be in a town so that there is some variety. We have stopped at said places before, but again, the feedback from our customers was that they just wanted to get to the next destination and only needed a quick stop to grab a sandwich. We take all of our customer comments on board and as we have the same tour departing in a few weeks we will look to stop in better places and find a happy medium, so thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The Schindler factory has always been an optional extra in which customers can attend if they wish to do so and you are expected to make your own way and queue etc. Although Nicky and Isabel were trying to help customers who wanted to go, it appears this backfired, as, if customers had just gone and queued as we expected them to, there would have been no issue in attending. It was only group bookings they weren’t taking. Again, it will be made much clearer In other tours that if you want to go, you do so of your own accord.

At other museums, we do usually say that you can explore them at your own leisure but that the guide will be walking through too if you have any questions. I am sorry if you felt you were just left, but again, the feedback previously has been that customers like their own time in museums.

We can only apologise that you were referred to an guinea pigs, this should not have happened. Although this was the first tour that Isabelle has guided for us you were in no way guinea pigs and both tour manager and guide have visited the locations previously. Again, we are sorry that reference was made.

We were so happy to hear that your follow on tour, the Holocaust Landscapes, was a great success and your experience on this tour was much better. I hope the latter experience is the one that stays with you, and hope you will join us again some time.
