Mixed experiences on the trains but the cites were well worth visiting.
Had hoped reserved seats would be good ones but on the longest journey we had dreadful seats . Windows are the vital necessity on a rail trip being taken for seeing the landscape!

Across the Alps and back
Excellent service. Our trip was well arranged and took us to the Adriatic via Paris and Munich and back via Milan and Paris. The St Gotthard pass was particularly impressive.
