Had trouble with the navigating web site (I am used to doing such things...normally). I had to ring them up and found them very helpful on the phone.

Thank you for your feedback. The log in section on our website provides extra security for our visitors, to access personal booking information. However we do now have the facility to take bookings and payments over the telephone, which you may find helpful in the future should you ever wish to book with us again.

Being your first point of call for any queries at the castle, we hope the owners we able to help adjust the heating for you, it sounds as though this may have been resolved quite quickly and you all enjoyed your stay overall.

Thank you for your feedback, due to the age of this lovely 18th century house there are a few quirks and as you say the showering can sometimes be a little temperamental!

As a group we have weekends away 2/3 times a year this was by far the poorest property in the last 5 years.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment from this review and within the email that was responded to directly. With anything that may not be perfect during your stay, it is advised to speak to the owner to rectify the matter. I understand that you did speak to the owner to discuss the cooking appliance and not hearing any further it was assumed all was well. There are black patches by the kitchen sink which have been there since letting started in 2008 and we have arranged for an engineer to check the cooking appliance. As discussed previously, a further property inspection is planned to ensure that standards are being met and this will be done as soon as possible, with the website being updated accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
