Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Thanks also for commenting on our good service and we are really delighted you intend to use us again in the future. The product purchased does technically only fit 20-38mm fittings but we have found it does adapt well to the majority of 40mm hosing. I apologise it was not suitable for your application on this occasion but pleased we supplied you with a suitable replacement. We look forward to helping you again in the near future. Regards Customer Service Team
