Thank you for taking the time to review our black/bronze solar light up mushrooms set of 3. We're sorry to hear that they aren't up to our usual excellent standard. To ensure the battery is fully charged and working at its best to power all the individual LEDs, we always recommend the following steps for the first use: Set the power switch to "on" and allow a full day of charging. Turn the switch "off" just before dusk. Turn the switch "on" again the following morning to allow the battery to receive 2 full days of charging. Please note that this process may take longer if sunlight is limited. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
