Thank you for taking the time to write a review; we have taken a note of the points you have raised. Though not a director of the business, Tom is an experienced valuer and conducted extensive research before attending your property for the purposes of providing a market appraisal. He did indeed advise that we had a number of prospective purchasers on our database, as is always the case with bungalows in the Southgate area of Crawley. A figure of ‘offers in the region of £375,000’ was agreed upon and an offer accepted within 4 weeks of marketing at 97% of this asking price. We understand your frustration at the volume of feedback concerning the work required to the property and would admit that this was more of an obstacle than we anticipated, but we were pleased to see the matter through to a successful completion in less than 12 weeks. We apologise if your experience of dealing with a number of sales staff led to some confusion; we endeavour to provide continuity in a customer’s point of contact but also aim to operate in such a way that any staff member can offer assistance in another’s absence. We will review our processes to ensure that such confusion is avoided wherever possible in the future. Unfortunately, we have no control in the buyer’s decision to approach your neighbour and to contact you through Facebook, although we can appreciate that this would have caused unnecessary frustration on your part. Ultimately, the fact that you did not feel comfortable with our levels of service is unacceptable and we apologise sincerely. We are glad to have reached a positive conclusion, we thank you very much for your business and for sticking with us, and wish you the very best for the future.
