That is truly a half-hearted apology. How about stating that you really care about your clients and you agree that 48 minutes is unacceptable? Or that you take this seriously and will endeavour to rectify this ridiculous situation where clients that actually want to do business with you have to wait so long? Sounds to me as though you are neither happy to receive my review nor particularly sorry for the delay.
