Dear Sir & Madam, We were saddened to read your review. We follow strict guidelines as dictated by the Property Ombudsman as regulators of the property industry. When a prospective purchaser makes and withdraws an offer, if another offer is submitted, as this was a month later, we would have to document the new offer as per protocol requires and it would be classed as a new negotiation. Your dedicated sales progressor did take annual leave and the branch manger did assist with the sales progression to ensure communication between the vendor and yourselves to sustain momentum towards the exchange of contracts. We apologise you feel you did not have a happy viewing prior to your exchange. Because of the speed of the viewing request a colleague offered to go the property, but was unable to offer information as requested because they had no involvement or knowledge of this particular property. The viewing was far from satisfactory and actually the estate agents knew days.before the need for a further viewing for the sale to progress. We were told in no uncertain terms from the person conducting the viewing was not 'getting involved' which set the tone for the viewing. The issue was her demeanour which putting it politely was surly. John German this is indefensible . The staff who conduct viewings should conduct themselves in a professional manner.
