Our collection service is by far our most popular offer and because it is an extremely helpful service which we provide completely free our collection slots are always very busy. Collections are, naturally, subject to availability and unfortunately we didn't have any left on the day you requested as other customer had arranged theirs with us first. When we informed you of this you said that 'this is fine' and that you would 'arrange for an alternative collection and removals service'. I understand that it's unfortunate that we weren't free on your specified day, but of course in life these things can happen sometimes, especially if things are arranged at short notice. Thankfully, most customers do understand that it's not always possible to have their first choice collection day and are happy to suggest an alternative date. If you'd provided us with an alternative date we would have done our best to accommodate it.
I've checked with the Southwark team and it seems that you were able to move your own things into your unit without any trouble and open your contract with us without any issues or problems - that's great to hear.
I'm very sorry that you feel that your overall experience was worth only 1-star. My feeling is that this is probably quite an unfair reflection of the service we've provided. Nevertheless it is your feedback to give and although we think may be harsh we thank you for it. We look forward to keeping your things safe and sound for as long as you need us to.
