Hawthorn, which is also known as Crataegus Monogyna, is a fast-growing, deciduous native hedge plant. It bursts into life with an abundance of iscented white blossoms and green leaves, before turning into red fruits, known as 'haws' during the autumn months. Hawthorn's sharp thorns makes it an effective protective barrier around gardens.

arrived with very dry roots. judging by the dead leaves they had been out of the ground for some time. The trouble is by the time you have waited so see if the flourish or not it;'s too late

Plants (bare rooted) were well packed & look great. Need to hang on for a few days before planting due to freezing conditions but have followed storage advice so hopefully all will be okay!
