Thank you for your comments. I'm very pleased to hear that you found Richard to be very polite and helpful.
The cost of healthcare in some countries eg. USA, Canada and Caribbean is considerably higher than in other countries and the price of insurance for those destinations has to reflect that.
With regards to annual travel insurance, our insurers will not provide cover for as many medical conditions on an annual policy as they do on a single trip because of the increased risk of not knowing where someone will be travelling to, for how long and how often.
Although we do offer annual policies, our aim is to enable travellers with all types of medical conditions to travel with the peace of mind that they have appropriate travel insurance cover in place. We do this by making sure that our single trip insurance is as accurately and fairly priced as possible.
I also appreciate that some customers may feel that their medical conditions are being seen as a higher risk than should be, however our medical screening process is written by doctors and nurses and is designed to assess people’s state of health as accurately as possible.
I hope that you enjoy your holiday in Hong Kong and hope that you will give us the opportunity of providing insurance to you again next time you travel.
