We have checked our records and found that you have been successful in your claim for the damage done to your TV.Regarding the other issues raised in your comments, it’s clear from your file that these have been discussed with you, extra charges were incurred due to being over volume and, as you did not take out any insurance, which was stated in your quote, we are not then liable for any damages that occur, our liability is capped at £40 per box/item.However, I will reiterate what Richard mentioned in an email to you about our terms and conditions surrounding insurance; “As per your initial Quotation, it is clearly denoted on page 1 that insurance is “available at a rate of 3% of your declared value”, Insurance is also mentioned on page 3 stating “When you’re ready to discuss this further, just let me know and I can provide you with everything you need.”Having looked at your file, insurance was not taken through GMS and as such, and in accordance with clauses 8.1 & 8.2, GMS’ liability is capped at a maximum of £40.00 per box/item.
