Good afternoon sir -- We are sorry to learn of your experience. However, we have consulted the technician who made the visit to your property. He suggested a completely new gear pack and also advised on the condition of the frame which also had a couple of queries over. The advise was for more than just wires which have since been done. We would also have been very reluctant to put a warranty on such a repair which would only potentially last such little time which would lead to further issues down the line. We obviously hope that the repair you have had done holds out, but unfortunately we were not comfortable doing a repair to that standard. Kind Regards, The Dawes Doors Team
